Veterans fly to Washington, DC to visit WWII Memorial at no cost to them

Honor Flight of West Central Florida (“Honor Flight”) recognizes American Veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, DC to see the WWII memorial at no cost. Top priority is given to WW II and terminally ill Veterans from all wars.  In order for Honor Flight to achieve this goal, Guardians fly with the Veterans providing assistance and helping Veterans have a safe, memorable and rewarding experience. For what veterans have given to us, this is a small token of appreciation from all of us at Honor Flight.

There is an Honor Flight leaving from Lakeland Linder Airport on September, 30th that still has openings for veterans available.  They are also in need of Guardians to accompany the veterans on their trip to Washington.  Applications for both positions are attached.
